At some point in my life someone has asked me the question where I want to be 5 years or 10 years from now? I’m sure I have given an answer but never one I thought I’d give after the journey at bloom. I discovered… Milkah, I learnt that she needed a mission statement for her life because without it you only do things because you have to and not because they steer you to where you want to go, and this is always somewhere at the back of your mind but bloom helped me be more purposeful about it. I learnt what to consider to make better decisions but the greatest and most timely experience was discovering how to identify and face the giants in my life and to be balanced about every aspect of it and why that mattered. I first went to bloom so that I could be able to do for others and left having learnt that first you have to do for self which therefore translates into being able to do for others. There is a huge difference when it starts with you and this clarity was very liberating. I left the program more focused and very purpose oriented. And finally one of my best read`s this year came from this interaction; “Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff -and it`s all small stuff by Richard Carlson”. (Ps, they have an omnibus of his three books in one on don’t sweat the small stuff on life, work and money, I loved the read) Rose and Shilpa-thanks for taking the time to impact and inspire I will forever be grateful. “Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff”
